Thrifty Spring Makeover Ideas
Got an old desk or table that has seen better days? Instead of having it collect dust until you have time to either finish it (or have someone else do it), why not press it into action by dressing it up with a nice table cloth or in the case of the example below, a king-sized pillow case (sourced from a local thrift shop for $2)?
Since the pillowcase is different on both sides, I was able to flip it over and create two different looks. Project total $21 for two separate looks for spring :).
COST BREAKDOWN: The wreath ($5), the artificial daffodils ($3), beige vase ($2.50), beige photo frame ($2), beige dish ($3), artificial miniature daffodils in a pot ($2), bunny ($1) and green bowl ($1) were all purchased from local thrift shops.
Below are some more examples of how you can give your home a fresh Spring makeover by repurposing items from around your home as well as shopping thrift and dollar stores.
Hope these thrifty spring makeover ideas inspire you to add a burst of colour and a breath of fresh air to your seasonal decorating.
Happy Spring!
